Just got it less than 10 minutes ago at Best Buy in OKC. And yes I had to ask for it as our Best Buys haven't put it on the shelves either.

        • One addendum to my story, why the hell didn't the guy tell ME about the other store, I told my wife that he told her because she is a woman. She thinks I'm crazy.

          • Yesterday I was told that MOO3 would be arriving at the shop at about 9:30am today, however I've heard this kind of thing before so didn't hold my breath. And, sure enough, today the shopkeeper told me he'd been lied to and it wouldn't be until towards the end of next week. However, according to gameplanet, it arrives in Australia today, is being shipped over to NZ on the weekend, and will arrive in shops on Monday or Tuesday. I'm still not holding my breath.

              • It's been quite a quest trying to get ahold of a copy in Las Vegas so far, but it looks like I'll get a copy tonight. Amazon.com listed it as available now, but didn't ship my order, and shipping was more than sales tax, so I decided to get it locally, cancelling my preorder.

Wednesday and Thursday, Best Buy was useless, refusing to comit to an in-store pickup until they had shipped all their preorders. So I called CompUSA. They're automated system said that they had the game in stock, so I headed over there. Couldn't find it in the store, so I ask at the information desk. According to what they pulled up in the computer, that store doesn't even STOCK the game, it's only available by special order or online.

So, I resigned myself to possibly not playing MoO3 for a few more weeks. Of course, this morning when I checked BestBuy.com, they said that the online store was out of stock (same as yesterday), but unlike yesterday, the local stores supposedly had stock that they would use for in-store pickup of online orders. So, expecting this to be a snafu, I ordered it, figuring that at the worst, I would get told when it was in stock and have a copy set aside for me. Well, by the time I made it to work, I had an email telling me that my copy was set aside. So, after all the work, and then resignation, now I'm stuck with 9 more hours of anticipation. I can live with that.

                • What's the situation in England at the mo?

Last I heard they (IG) were releasing a UK version over here, the only differences being some change of spelling and a manual that's been massacred.

I'm wondering wether I should and if I can order it from Amazon.de or something?

Please let me know what's going on. Ugh, I'm asking that so often lately .

                  Take care.

                      That would explain why.

                              • I picked up a copy yesterday from the Walmart in Warminster, PA for $49.33. Interesting thing though, it was not in with the other "new" releases, just in with the older stuff.
