Thats not anti Greek! At the worst, (and I mean absolute worse case scenerio worse) it's anti-Chantz...which also it wasn't. Besides, I'm half Greek, and I can eat baklava, Falafel, and spinach rolls with the best of em.

I can eat baklava! Can I be tapped as an honorary Greek? If I get bonus points, I love Greek mythology, too!

if you're half-greek and think greeks are biased against turks, you are terrible at being a half-greek. you should try harder.

and everyone loves baklava, that doesnt count

My grandparents don't like Turks! And they're full blown greeks from Tesaloniki. MarkG, are you running Apolyton from Greece? Are you telling me that even after so many years, Greeks don' hold any anamosity against Turkey?

Well, I think you're getting at something Harry Potter. You are from Alabami, a southern state, and to a high degree, we can generalize the attitudes and worldviews carried by people of the south. You can do the same thing on a more national level, when you speak about the average Palestinian's view of an Israeli, or a Russian's view of a Chechen, or a Pakistani's view of an Indian....or yes, a Greek's opinion of a Turk. My Grandparents aren't hateful, so they do not feel that way about Turks, but the do poke fun and make jokes about Turks. And thats what I was doing, except in a much more lighthearted off beat way

edit: to quote Bill O'Reilly, "Mr. Potter, am I wrong?"

I guess I can see your point there. Just pick the most conservative/religious viewpoint and nine times out of ten you'd be dead on.

Be careful with the 'Alabami', though, if you ever come through these parts. Them hill peoples ah treet you like your disrespectin' 'The Bare' you come roun' talkin' that thar Yankee...

you used two words: Turks and Turkey. i think that grand majority of greeks have learned to separate the people from their governors

Hmm, sounds like Harry isn't from the South originally and hence his comments about those who are from this part of the country originally, like myself.

Oh, and you're right about the conservative aspect at least, which is only natural since people from the North look to the government to solve all their problems and hold their hands when life is "too rough" while folks in the south (the people who fought against a centralized, "all powerful", government) are more self-reliant and independant.

(Geeze, is anyone else bored while waiting on this game?)

Shoot, Dubbya's from the South and he can't create new government posts fast enough. I'm more Libertarian than anything. And yes, I'm bored out of my mind waiting this $&#$^% game...

                            Hrm...

I never knew Texas was "from the South" since I always figured they were more mid-west. I know Texas fought on the Confederate side during the civil war, but I don't think they are the "true south" whatever that's worth.

Hmm, what government jobs is he creating that weren't pressured on him by the demo's? Federal screener's, demo idea. Homeland security is more about re-organization than anything.

Except for the Libertarian views on legalizing drugs (and prostitution?) I agree with most of their views as well, except know that some "big government" ideas like police force, etc, should be paid for by all.

                                IG standards Mark?

As far as "the crash bugs are way in the endgame which may make them difficult to isolate"- Then why are the external BT's using their time to post such wonderful after action reports in single player? Is someone saying that not ONE of these BT's have experinced this crash, or have they all been told NOT to speak of this specifically in remarks, because of NDA's?
