Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I would like to thank the brave developement team for sticking with their guns on this and refusing to cave to 'market demands' (or whatever) and waiting to release the game. I will buy this game. I was ready to buy in April, then September, then yesterday, and now I will wait until you are ready.
I do really appreciate your determination to produce a bug-free game (its a long shot - I will still watch for the patches ).
I bought Neverwinter Nights a day or two after it came out, and it took about a month and a bit before it was playable. I would have rather waited for the game to be fixed.
Having said that, Hearts of Iron is out now, and it was 'heads or tails' which one I would buy first. Of course, HoI's been out in Russia for a week and there's already a patch... Of course, anyone who knows about Europa Universalis, the players love to edit that system, and the d/l are endless...
Hang in there! I know this will be a great game, well worth the wait!
Besides preventing the world from speaking german . How about this pretty much created the computer gaming industry and computer industry so that moo3 would get made.
Hmm... As far as I know, the list has been delayed by Infogrames, so that it can't be sent before 12th April. Except for Germany, of course. The Germans have to wait until christmas 2003.
Good thing is, the list will be shipped along with Civ3:PTW and MoO3... I am really tired right now, so excuse this little nonsense.
BTW, an american version of MoO3 wouldn't be compatible with european PCs, eh?
>>The list of what you have done for Americans is non existing.<<
Well, apart from the fact that we built the colonies in the first place, we also gave you a load of tea... And you ungrateful sods threw it into the sea! Sacriledge! (Unless it was darjeeling)
Anyway, to return to topic, I hope we get it before chrismas, but hey, I've waited 2 years, I can wait a bit more. At least they are making those balancing adjustments and not just giving us 'Psilons rule, everyone else sucks'. I wonder what that means for the strategy guide, with its 'in depth' cost/benefit analyses?
Oh well, maybe MOO3 will be curing the 'new year, back-to-work-blues'
The foppish elf, fighting ithkul in a top hat and smoking jacket since 1885
I sure hope this thread doesn't turn into boring and pointless "my country is better than your country because..." xenephobic nonsensical bickering.
Anyway, with the MOO3 release date, i'm getting to the point where i couldn't care less. I couldn't give a crap about multiplayer and would love to see it shipped with a multiplayer fix later on, but this won't happen because this deserves to be a game for everyone when it is released, including multiplayer and single player enthiusiasts alike. Sure, the delays are annoying, i gather there is another one now, and its a shame that they will miss a lot of the Christmas shopping period. But this is a game that is worth the wait, no matter how frustrating

Well how about a mines bigger than your thread
I just hope I see this game before the 11th otherwise I willnot be able to get . The 4th of December seems like a pipedream it would have to go gold today or tomorow and seeing as there both holidays in the US i dont see that happening unless all the cd printing and packagin is done outisde the US.

lucky you, i have semester exams until december 21, so i won't be able to play until christmas day, heck, i should just ask for the game as a christmas present.
I already did. Top of my list, followed by Dungeon Seige and Impossible Creatures(yeah I know it won't be out by Christmas but I still want it), then a few pencil-and-paper games from SJGames.
