Hi Folks,

Yes, it's been a while, just wanted to give you a quick update.

*The release date for MOO3 has been moved back to 12/4.*

*We're probably going to go gold this Friday or sooner* - i'll make an announcement here when it does.

You'll see EB and the like retool their dates over the next few days.

I know some of you are going to be upset, but understand, we want to release a thoroughly enjoyable, bug free Single Player AND Multiplayer gaming experience. Right now, we have a couple of late game crash bugs in MP that *have* been nailed; we just need some more time to test.

Most of our external testers feel that the game can ship as it stands now. However, we care about all the MP players out there (and there are a lot of you), so we're doing it right. This make all of us (QSI, our internal testers and external testers) very happy.

Be thankful that we are NOT rushing this out the door So hang tight and be cool...we're almost done!

Yes I know. I'm sorry for the multiple posts. I had stopped at two but then it was suggested that this be in its own thread.

Cool, thats about the 2nd best thing they could of said Just behind, we'll meet the thanksgiving release date.

Course that meant, I had to immediately goto ebgames and pre-order it. If it'd been out thanksgiving weekend, id of just picked it up at the mall as I drove to my mother's house anyways. Since it's after lll be back (and in the middle of the week as well as the 4th is a Wednesday), there's very little point to trying to drive 100 miles to the closest EB, then 100 miles back just to pick it up Not that thats a bad thing really, surprisingly I could overnight air mail it cheaper than it would of cost buying it in state due to TN's sales tax being so high (10 percent), take into account 200 miles worth of gas, and I guess I really came out ahead price wise :P

Perhaps even better, I don't have to work 8-10 hours a day all next week getting all those annoying programming projects that comp sci. professors like to make due on the last week of classes done a week early just so I can play moo3 on the release date. Dec. 4th, just happens to be the day the last one is due anyways

lucky you, i have semester exams until december 21, so i won't be able to play until christmas day, heck, i should just ask for the game as a christmas present.

I have exams the week after release, and Im graduating the weekend after

But in comp. sci., projects are ussually more of a concern than the actual finals :P

Will this be a world-wide release date? EB in Australia say Dec 6th. Is that correct?

I have no idea, but if it said Dec. 6th before when the release was going to be Nov. 26th in the states, then I would assume that would be pushed back an equivalent amount too, but who knows

Hey at least they are holding off the game so they can fix it. From reading the CivIII PtW forums they are complaining with all the multiplayer problems they are having.

Kudos for delaying it only a week or so. I rather wait for a game that works with no problems instead of waiting for a patch to come out and play a game that is unplayable.

You have to wait for moo3 while we have it, we have to wait for Anno 1502 while you have it. SO I supose it all balances out.
