Can someone point me to a link, that tells me what is allowed to be said and what will p*i*s*s*o*f*f* the almighty site owner? Since I can't find it, I'm hoping someone else knows where it is. Because I know I can't read minds. But it would still be nice to know these things before He goes off being the "Delete King".

Your FAQ has this to say on What I Can't Say:
Insults, flames, hatred comments, spamming, advertisements are an abuse of your priviledge to post and can result to a penalty.
So have you gone against your own policy here? Or are you gonna change it on your whim (which you are allowed to do, your the OWNER)?
I'm just wondering, because as you can see above, What you've been deleting doesn't fit into this list. Or does it?

Now here is what the FAQ says on what is allowed.
Anything, as long as it is on-topic(or off-topic in the OT forum), and it's not covered in "What can't I post?"
Since this topic is "distribution of MOO3 "Demo"", and what I've been talking about is strickly on TOPIC. And it isn't covered by the "What can't I post?".
Can you explain why, If I have been following your posted Rule's FAQ, Why your still deleting messages? I understand, you don't want people discussing getting the Demo here. But I still think you should work within your own rules, or change your rules. IMO.

I don't understand what the fuss may be with QS/IG. Everybody should know by now that everything that is popular will end in the web sooner or later, disregarding any author rights and/or exclusivity treaties!
Like IG needs to remember anyone about author rights!"BANANA POWAAAAH!!! (exclamation Zopperoni style)" - Mercator, in the OT 'What fruit are you?' thread

Ahh, yes, the "delaying the inevitable" defense.
It's inevitable that you're going to spend all your money, so please just give it to me now and quit delaying the inevitable.
Should I even bring up the inevitability of dying?
The owner of the board need not participate in or enable a practice of questionable legality just because to do otherwise is "delaying the inevitable". Let's think, people. If I'd known then what I know now, I'd never have done all the stuff that led me to what I know now...

Hi moo3 fans
Normally i just read the boards
but in an occasion like this i can't get myself not
to reply
I think it's rather funny (it's "I" so it's my opinion , so don't start flaming me ;-)
that so many people are discussing if it's illegal to distribute
the "demo" and that it isn't proper to discuss about "were you can download it"
But "I" think that NOBODY can ignore the fact
that the demo is out in the open and that if someone
can actualy post a link with the download location
that there's not a single soul reading these boards that will hesitate to press the link.

Quicksilvers OFFICIAL statement concerning the "Demo"
"while we'll be leaving any screenshots up on the forums that have been posted we will be removing any links to actual copies of the version since we don't feel it's representative of the game."
Are we allowed to post links now? Since they don't consider this an ILLEGAL copy?
I and others (you know who you are), understand that this isn't "representative of the game". But we would still like to view it for ourselves.
Just asking MarkG.

indeedIf the magazine in question did have authorization to release it then they may consider it a violation of their distribution/sales rights if electronic copies are freely accessible ...
btw, i hear the magazine is being sold on ebay. aparrently people who got are now trying to get rid of itbut it's an idea for those insist...
