    Turn 180:
    All planets in the Darlenia System were directed to build transports.

    Turn 181:
    Our warship has returned home and will be refitted.

    Turn 183: Magistrate Rash-lki has offered her services to us, she will provide an industrial
    bonus as well as a ship experience bonus.

    We now have a beam battleship with:
    Tritanium
    Nuclear drive
    Positronic computer
    class 3 shields
    7 Heavy armor Piercing autofire Mass drivers.
    1 heavy Autofire Mass dirver
    13 point defense autofire mass drivers.
    all of which are spread out
    Battlepods
    heavy armor
    inertial stabilizer.

    With this fleet we will launch for the nearest silicoid world.

    Turn 184:
    Silicoid warships have been spotted headed for our outpost at vela, our missile ship will
    launch its vollies and retreat while our scout ship dies for the cause stays to make
    sure the missiles hit their targets.

    Turn 185:
    We have lost our outpost at Vela, and our ship failed to make a single kill due to the scout's
    failure to stay alive.

    100s were killed, mainly women and children.

    Enemy ships were lead by the trilarian, and they were equipped with nuclear missiles, neutron blasters
    and good computers.

    Turn 186:
    Tachyon Physics has been discovered, we now possess
    Battlescanners, Tachyon Communications, and Tachyon Scanners.

    Research will temporarily be diverted to molecular compression pending a vote on what
    should be researched next.

    Turn 187:
    Darlenia 3 has finished terraforming and has been set to housing.

    Turn 188:
    Intelligence indicates that there are 9 ships a Shalako and our forces will likely have to retreat.

    Turn 189:
    Report from the Front:
    Scanners indicate that the Silicoids do not possess computer technology, only leaders
    are helping them to make their hits.

    both leadership targets were obliterated, the enemy, apparently overconfidient in
    their abilities placed both leaders on a destroyer and a cruiser.

    The lack of battlescanners hurt in this fight, or 2 more ships might have been destroyed.

    And finally a starbase has been completed on Darlenia prime.

    Defense minister:
    we Have 3 transports, should we scrap them?(current CP are that we are using 11 and have 10)
    We are also constructing a new battleship as per the latest design. Should we alter the design.
    Enemy ships are using a lot of missiles, so more pd may be in order, but per ship we have
    a great deal of pd.

    Minister of Affairs:right now both colonies on Darlenia are producing housing, should either
    switch?(Darlenia 1 has a starbase, Darlenia 3 doesn't, but it is also a HG world).

    Tycho is still barely proding along and I have rushed its autofactory, does it continue on
    with its que?

    Citizens:
    What shall we aim for next?
    Warp interdictors
    Zortium Armor
    Something else

    Right now it takes our ships 6 turns to get to the nearest silicoid world. So going for
    fusion drives next may be a good idea. then proceding to our next goal.

                    I think we must definitely go for fusion drives. It must take no more than one or two turns. This automatically means more speed and more defence for our ships. We must get Rash-Iki and go for Zortrium. With pollution processors/Atmosphere Renewers/Nano Disassemblers we won't have much pollution, and we'll be able to build significantly faster.

                    If we decide to build housing, then it should be done on a 1-pop world, the other colonists must be transported elsewhere. Otherwise it is better to build spies for example.

                    Do not scrap transports. We must head for the silicoid colonies immediately after the Fusion drives are researched. We must find a way to use them instead of scrapping them.

                        HI all,

                        first: Sorry that I didn't post earlier, but I am on vaccation and I have to rely on a 56K modem......jesus...it is sloooooooooooooow.......

                        I would say either better amour or the fusion drive.

                        I do tend more for the fusion drive as it offers quicker speed (in combat and on in flight) and IIRC better defense.

                        As bakalov mentioned already we shall better spend housing on low population worlds (less then ~80%), otherwise spies and if we reached max pop ship them around.

                        scrapping sounds like a bad choice. can we not build somewhere some more space stations/battle stations?

                        With the refit we might want to wait till we have fusion power, or?
