About how much time should I give for everyone to wander into the thread and give their impressions, votes, etc. It seems like I didn't give people enough time this time.

I think I'll wait until saturday 5:00pm cst before doing 75-100, though ill move that back to sunday or monday if enough people haven't come in.

Seems fair to me. The first 75 turns are merely perfunctory anyway.

                    Whoha,

                    go slowly.................

Some of us, might not necessarly check every day..............

but with those planets........we might be better of with an outpost, or?

Small report from MoA (or am I ), better one coming later.

I do´nt know the meaning of that we shold take the sekond worker from D1 to D2.

So, you can make ships without shields, I have to do them.
The Chuck Norris military unit was not used in the game Civilization 4, because a single Chuck Norris could defeat the entire combined nations of the world in one turn.

                          Thouhgts in semi-random order:

Hold off on Cyr until at least 25 turns from now -- maybe at turn 101, we'd like somebody (he's not the best but 25% for our one & only ship might be worth it.)
I see no value in having him on board too soon.

Go ahead & move the citizen.

I like the research plan & the actions taken to date -- some new stuff for me, so my comments have been sparten accordingly.

What's the medium run thought for ships -- missiles or beams -- and if beams which way are we jumping? I usually follow the thought of mass drivers with level III shields & the extra features that can be loaded then.

Do we want to squeeze out a couple of military shiips after robo?

                          Thanks for the screenies.

Well, what we go with depends on tech, though we will get good beam targeting stuff early being creative.

D1 is Darlenia I, so we are talking about a standard practice of moving any new population from the new planet to the home world.
This is done to get the HW fully populated quickly. You can move them on the same turn as they are in the same system.
You could use the same tactic to move pop to other systems, but I tend to do that for only a few planets and only a few population to get that planet going. I would not expect to do it with this race.
I may do it with a slave race for a super planet.

I am not sure if this is a statement or a question. Yes you can make ships without shields as well as without computers. That is what we did for the scout.
If you have learned shields, they will be autodesigned into existing ships, if you do not want them, you need to select shields and select NO. I never have build one that way in a game, but it can be done.
Ships are not used to move pop, freighters are, so you need to have enough to handle food transfers and pop shifting, if you are doing either or both. I was not sure if this was what you were interested in or what.
