Your buddy starts the "argument with logic and facts" along the lines of "you must work for Infogrames, I want some of what you've been drinking." Since he's evidently your buddy, that qualifies as "logic and facts" while any response in kind, giving that profound statement all the accord it deserves, sets you off into a multiparagraph display of pedantry on the fallacy of the moment. Those little "aren't I so smart, aren't you all impressed" displays of pedantry have been your sole "contributions."

Weasel could more aptly descibe the post technique, not the poster, since the entire post was a diatribe about fallacies using spurious examples such as 1+1=4 and 1+1=12, while studiously avoiding the issue of what other alternative business scenarios supposedly make the post fallacious. Particularly as the real, live, delivered game has been improved with the patches issued so far.

I'd like to see and play Stars! Supernova Genesis too, but the greatest 4X game design that never hits the shelves isn't very playable.
