If you like playing the game, get GalCiv. If you like the game playing you, get MOO3. I found GalCiv to be ugly, but a lot of fun, with an awesome AI. I found MOO3 to be very ugly, slightly more fun than putting my balls in a salad shooter, with an absolutely horrible AI completely in control of what should have been my empire. Maybe the patch fixed some of that, but I never bothered to download it. GalCiv will soon have a free expansion pack available for download however. I know which one I was glad I bought. It wasn't MOO3.Comment

Tried Moo2? How about SE IV? Both are also better IMHO than GalCiv.
