      I don't know what to tell you...are you color blind, perhaps? Because I've never had any problem differentiating between the starbases. There are bands of color on them that show you which civilization owns them, simple as that.

          I still can't distinguish them but that's ok. I will try a new game. ****Alpha Centauri & Galactic Civilization ..... Combined. The Revised Edition ****
