Old RPGs - WTF?

Dragon Warrior III and IV weren't nearly as bad as the first two. III had a fun little party-building system while IV was a little more story-intense; every character had his own chapter in the game before they all banded together. FFIII (not VI, III) was reasonably entertaining too, if you like RPGs. Nowadays I'm trying to avoid them, because they're sort of like giant black holes that suck up all your free time.

While I was keen on the concept, I found Eye of the Beholder to be atrocious.

On the other hand, Legend (Four Crystals of Trazere in the US) remains one of the best games I've ever played.

I still occasionally play the old SSI AD&D games which came out in the late 80's to early 90's.
