I've seen this advertised in some of the banners here, is it really some sort of civ?

OK, I've been playing it for a while now, and it's pretty OK.

They've now changed the name to EVONY, for some reason.

you can build up a city and eventually attack and be attacked by other players, but you have 7 days grace period to start, in which you can't attack cities or be attacked.

you get a daily spin for goodies, and you can spend real money buying goodies to help you out... or not.

fair graphics, no sound. all in the browser.Any man can be a Father, but it takes someone special to be a BEAST

I was just about to point out that Horsie is simply making excuses in advance for why he will suck at Civ III...
...but Father Beast beat me to it! - Randomturn

True.Originally posted by Felch View PostI played it for about fifteen minutes. If you've played any other browser strategy games (OGame, Ikariam, Travian), it's a lot like those. If you get into it, they can be quite addictive.

I found a browser game called "Visual Utopia" by an accident while I was waiting for some turns of Call To Power (I only playing CTP by E-Mail) 1½ year back (the week between Xmas and NewYear and NOTHING happend, no turns no nothing no nothing ) )

And I'm still hocked on that game. Maybe because the era's never is alike. This time (era) fx., it's really expensive to keep an army . The admin always find new things to test - and sometimes he even listen to the players .
