And as a cheap parting shot, one in the eye for those who like to belittle console gaming. This is different, open-ended, and genuinely original. And (for now anyway) it's a console exclusive.

Good to see these sort of games coming out on the console.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Aw, this is bull****. LBP got delayed until further notice due to having words from the Qur'an in one of the tracks:

If you're offended by it, don't play it until a patch is out. Let the rest of us play.

It looks from that article you linked that it's only delayed in Europe. Good thing North America still has balls.
          John Brown did nothing wrong.

On a side note, why is Islam weird about that? Christians can't agree on anything, but if you go into a left wing Episcopalian church, or a right wing Baptist, or a Catholic church, and you'll find most of the hymns are psalms set to music.

Rivers of Babylon by the Melodians is just Psalm 137. That's just one example.

I know there's probably some Koranic thing going on, but it's odd, especially given that the guy who made the song is a Muslim from Mali. It almost seems like this is Saudi inspired fundies trying to tell everybody else what to do.

No, it's a worldwide recall and delay now.

Ummm... The religous guy, who pointed this out, just wanted a patch -- not a recall...

So the patch is ready, the developers want it released, but it was Sony who put a ki-bosh on this. Man, can Sony do anything right?

I think the root cause of this is Asian Sony not understanding Westren Religion and the West at large. This causes it to act strange sometimes. It should know that it can not do everything right alone a let regional deparments have more power.

Yes, Sony can get things right. They were much stronger than Sega and Nintendo before they give up. Sony is good but Mircosoft is even better. People keep forgeting how much better gaming has gotten...

These are the kind of games that console gaming really needs imho(please not ANOTHER super violent FPS! I beg you!)......and pretty sad that a non-issue will cause a delay.

It might not end up being everyones cup of tea, but something other than FPS needs a voice on console and this was looking very promising, especialy after the slight dissapointment over Spore.

I hope PS3 gamers(who must be truely famished for a truely good original game by now?) can hold out and get this when they fix the issue.
