It's ok, found the decrypt early thing, Epic Dogg is fun to watch.

Took me an hour, but I finally managed to take down an Epic Glass Insect in Creature stage. Stupid thing couldn't figure out how to walk around the small stand of Spore Fruit trees I was hiding behind. I was spitting at it with a level 5 and had plenty of fruit on hand to replenish my energy while pissing this thing off. An alternate way I tried was to attack from the high ground and fly off if the epic got too close, though they can swat you out of the sky if you're not quick enough. Also, don't go after the flying epics; they can go anywhere you can though like any epic they won't chase far.

Unfortunately, there was no achievement badge associated with this victory. Bah.

I've seen a few crashed UFOs.

I think I've seen one in every stage except the Cell stage.

Of course, when you're clocking 55 hours a day in Spore, you tend to find a lot of things.

The first epic creature I've seen in my games was of Dangeyious... which sure looks dangerous when epic
