But i can't help... it feels somehow slow, and there isn't alot exciting in the gameplay. Ok, I've only tried a single 90min game, not understanding every detail of what i was actually doing, but shouldn't that be the time for feeling really excited about playing a game ?

Having messed about with the demo, I'd tend to agree. It's lovely to look at, but the economic system is over-complex for a wargame. You need this to build that to build one of those. Classic case of strategy game kitchen sink syndrome.
