That's slow of you Asher, only complaining after the person gets unbanned already.

      I don't read boring threads.

I got PMs from my informants who informed me that my best buddy in the whole wide world was banned by a European tyrant with a heavy accent, a French cigarette, and a beret. I had to see it for myself.

Mind you, I appreciate that you unbanned him once I told you to.

Yes I was banned because I made Frenchie cry. Solver topped the thread because if there's not enough topped threads, DanQ decides to flood every forum with announcements about Polycast and Locutus calls him a name (though no one knows what it means because it is obscured by teh despicable accent) and Ming and rah go into simultaneous cardiac arrest because they can ban neither of them. It's good to avoid these sticky situations.

        Wow, quite a paranoid attitude!

The EXE format is because there is a viewer included for the mag, so that someone can't just register a copy and then spread it over the P2P networks. That's all and nothing else. I downloaded and installed it fine, and so far my anti-viruses (I have two) have not said anything .

Why this hateful bashing? Because I don't see anything else in these unfounded accusations.
        AWW HAVE A CROISSANT!

The idea that hundreds of people are going to pirate Cyberstrategie to get the latest scoop on Silent Hunter 4 and Civilization 3 from 'digital news agents' is so idiotic that it leaves a terrible, salty taste in my mouth, almost like balls. You don't need a viewer for the demo either way.

It's threads like this that make me wish I never went away and then changed my identity.

Good job all round - pats on the back and onions for all frenchies and pointers in the direction of 'Team America:world police' for all the good yankies(with or without salty balls taste in mouth).

Oh and a good(and harmless) shift in the business model to provide an 8 page PDF that everyone is free to circulate around the net with a link(and explanation) to your paid for full version(in exe model etc) would get my vote. We all love strat(and frenchies and americans) but are wary of the .exe from a 'new' source. I think that is all this problem is?

I think the problem is shameless thread bumping.

                    Hello to all
I have the pleasure to announce that Cyberstratege, the strategy games magazine, is now available in .pdf on Gamers Gate (www.gamersgate.com) !

Following many readers requests, we have worked hard to make the magazine available in .pdf, which is much more convenient thant to download an .exe, I must admit.

The issue #0 of Cyberstratege includes the following articles :
                    - Reviews : American Civil War, UFO: Afterlight, Silent Hunter III, Battlefront, etc.

                    - Strategy Guides : Europa Universalis III, Armageddon Empires, Medieval II: Total War

Good reading and long life strategy !
                    Theophile Monnier

A sound choice, if somewhat late.

I admit, but it was quite complicated to set up and we had to wait for Gamers Gate to be ready

I can't see how it's so difficult? But good you came to the right conclusion. Still took you some days to announce it here though. It was released half a week ago, wasn't it?

You're right, I should have done it before !
In fact, we had to set up the secure solution and do some testing. Have you tried it ?
For the moment, only issue #0 is available but we will finish issue #1 for end of August, it will be a complete adatation of French Cyberstratege issue 14 (with strategic guide on Fantasy Wars, Napoleon Campaigns, Armageddon Empire, a study of the 4X genre, etc.)

I haven't as of yet tried it. I just saw it announced in the news letter.
