Where is this list and comparative ratings schedule?
The Weapon and Armor values are represented by an abstract number, the total of the two =20. SO you can have Weapon 20, armor 0... W 10, A 10... W 5 A 15... any combo as long as it equals 20.

As for weapon choices, it's whatever you want it to be. It has no effect on actual combat. You can use a sword, or staff, bare fists, a variety of weapons, or even a long spike on top of your helmet.

        Say Theben and I compete,

        1) Will I know who I compete against before competition or no, it is random selection

        2) Will I know what my opponent is usibng or not prior to match?

        3) How often do matches occur and does an individual ever "heal" between matches?

        4) Do I post here my weapons, my 'name" as Gladiator, and those table as prescribed in item 3 of the rules in OP... do we role play, i.e. pick a country, describe our life as a new or veteran Gl;adiator, ect.?

        1) Yes, you'll know. The GM assigns the order in which you fight. In the round robin you'll eventually fight everyone.

        2) You'll know their weapon and armor values, but not how they assigned the 100 pts. to attack/defend.

        3) In the RRobin there are 2 matches vs. each player. Each match involves selecting 100 points divided into 3 sets, as outlined in the rules, and generally you fight 2-3 people at a time per RR. You 'heal' between each round robin completely, but if you make it to the semi-finals you only heal if you make it to the finals. Both the semis and the finals are to the death.

        4) You should describe your fighter, and weapons/armor, as it helps the GM. There isn't much roleplaying, but the GM writes little stories about how the game is progressing, and the descriptions help. There usually is a good amount of trash-talking tho.

And actually it is attack/defend/power, so you'll send something like:

                  AA-BB-CC
                  DD-EE-FF
                  GG-HH-II

                  Where AA+BB+CC+DD+EE+FF+GG+HH+II= 100

                    thanks

one more point, almost sunk in now:

What is the signifigance of the a/d/p in 3 difference rows?

I am asking why not have a total of 100 in just a single a/d/p?

What exactly is the reasoning behind 3 rows of this and what should I as a gladiator want to be looking for to succeed?

Thanks for you patience and understanding all!!

Soon as I get last question answered, I shall do just this!

In addition, do I repeat this process every 72 hours or one time is all I need and winning/losing match outcomes dictate future attributes?

                      Gracias

I'll post the schedule later tonight.

This isn't quite right, there will be 1 match vs each player consisting of 2 combat rounds. Whoever has the highest HP at the end of the 2nd combat round gets 3 points, and one bonus point if they reduce their opponent to 0 hp. Ties result in 1 point each.
                        "
