This kinda reminds me of my first ever U S Open Heavy Weight Free Sparring Championship, Brown/Red Belt Division in Pittsburg PA 1985
We had fighters from Mexico, U S, Korea, England and Canada from what I remembered.
78 or so fighters in my division and we fought single elimination until the winner (yes I did win, pix to prove as well!)
Not knowing who was who was thrillimng, how the referees would call it, would a controlled strike be seen or would it be called an incomplete technique, timing, ect.
Looking forward to learning how this all goes down.
