  • What video card do you currently own?

    How much did it cost?

EVGA 8800GT About 85-90% of the speed of Asher's card at 1/3 of the price.

Also didn't exist til rather recently. It's a great value, the 8800 GT.

I've had the ultra since mid last year. And its price hasn't changed since then -- I got it for the same price as the GTX.

At that time it was either the 8800 GTX or the 8600s, which are ass.

I kind of knew that, you'd be insane to pick the ultra over the gt at this point.

I was even thinking SLI, but looks like it would be just easier to upgrade in a few years. Now if I would not have gotten the SLI mobo.

In the current computer, I have an EVGA 6800 GS Superclocked AGP card that's been softmodded into a 6800 Ultra. I paid $225 for it about 2 years ago. I'll be going to an 8800 GT Superclocked in a couple of months when I build my new computer.

XFX 8800GTS 320 megs for €270 (about half a year ago)

I somewhat have the feeling I should have gotten the 8800 GT instead.

Don't think the 8800 GT was out half a year ago. Or maybe it was and time's flown..

2 8800 GTSs. I bought them something like 12-18 months before the GT was launched.

A 7600GT in my knockabout machine for about £50 and an 8800GTS for about £300 (who'd be an early adopter?) in my main PC.

                        I have this:
                        XFX GeForce 8600GT 256MB

After the $30 rebate it's only $72 with shipping. Excellent card so far. I've only been using it for a few weeks.

The kids are using my old card:
                        GECUBE Radeon X850PRO 256MB
Good card - but the new one is definitely an improvement.

I have a GeForce 8900 GTX, I think from ASUS, and I paid 399 Euros (VAT included) a few months ago.

I don't recall exactly, but I have an 8800 something, I believe. GTS, probably, and likely paid way too much for it

The mobility X1400 with more hypermemory than Asher would know what to do with. Eat my dong, it's in a laptop and can run company of heroes and Civ4 for $1,000.
