Will has spent a lot of time talking about how free the player will be in creating new content, by this I mean new creatures and art with the in-game tools. I’m wondering how free will you be to change things beyond the scope of the tools?Let’s say I want to mod the civ phase to make it more like civ or if I want to mod the galactic age or whatever it’s called and expand diplomacy?
What if I want to improve the AI, will I be able to tweak it? (like Blake did with civ )
What about the interface and the graphics engine? Eg If I wanted the “new” cellular phase to be less cartoony and more like it was before or to give the game a more adult look (and god willing content)
And if mods are made, how will the massively online single player concept work with them? I mean your computer cant upload a sentient flying creature that you created with a “smart birds” mod to a vanilla spore computer. Will you be stuck with playing the original CD/DVD contetnt? Will you be able to share content with other people with your mod?
