          Turn 13 - Overkill!

It all began with a single woman, a woman whose distinct femininity and attractiveness was only matched by her bustiness. In her left hand she held a bouquet of red roses, interestingly shaped in the manner of a mushroom cloud. From her cleavage she pulled out a small card, handwritten, and handed it to Chaunk, still waiting at the door. The message was succinct: "You reap what you sow. Love, DrSpike." While Chaunk stared into space, distracted by the spy and her note, the spy sabotaged his orders to stockpile nukes. Then, four nukes from DrSpike destroyed four of Chaunk's cities.

To add insult - and death - to injury, two nukes from EPW destroyed Chaunk's last city. As did two nukes from LordShiva.

LordShiva had also launched two other nukes at DrSpike, which hit successfully. Meanwhile, Spaced Cowboy worked quietly and secretly, staying away from all the crazy action.

          Code:

                    Turn 14 - Endgame

Another cleavage-endowed spy was on the prowl this turn, this time commissioned by Spaced Cowboy to halt DrSpike from committing whatever evil he was planning on committing. However, when our femme fatale arrived at her destination, all the doors were padlocked, windows boarded up. Spike was in the bunker this turn.

Fortunately, Spaced Cowboy had not sent his nukes to the place he had sent his spy. Three of his nukes were destined for EPW, ending that menace once and for all - though not before EPW launched two nukes of his own back at Spaced. Spaced's other nuke successfully hit LordShiva, who was working on some secret project.

                    Code:
The World As It Stands, Turn 14

Sorry Spikie, this is the way deflectors work. The nukes do eventually find a good home. Quoth the rules:
When deflecting nukes to a certain player, every second nuke to arrive that turn will be deflected to another player (Which has to be included in the orders). The nukes which get deflected is: 1, 3, 5… while 2, 4, 6… will hit

It also came up in a previous game, but the Forum Games Rules Compendium doesn't have NW games listed, and I really couldn't be bothered trawling through them for proof.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

                              • Turn 15 - Construction is Futile

DrSpike decided that in order for him to have a fighting chance, he should build a new city. It didn't matter what it was to be called, though, for a sole nuke from Spaced Cowboy destroyed it before the paint had even dried.

LordShiva decided that in order to cushion his lead in territory, he should build a new city. The construction fell through when a spy from Spaced Cowboy resulted in the materials shipments being lost in a far away land. Adding insult to injury, another nuke from Spaced destroyed one of Shiva's other two cities.

                                Code:
The World As It Stands, Turn 15
