Fallout 3 must be gotten, even if it isn't as good as the first two. It just has to. It's a rule!

Is anyone looking forward to the Assassin's creed sequel? Personally I'm not, but I am interested to see if they can make a decent game- it would seem they need to change the type from platformer to something else for it to succeed... they can't just get away with more of the same, but in a different setting (the far east...)

        looking forward to AC-DS.

I hadn't heard that a sequel was already announced, I've barely played the first one (too much other stuff to play/no time)

I don't think you can classify Assassin's creed as a platformer. I thought the first one was decent. The combat was excellent, but the repetitive missions and cliffhanger ending made the game just average. Add more variety to the info gathering missions and I think the second one will be much better.

I played the demo. It's about as overrated a game as you can get.

The graphics are nice if a bit washed out and bland. The facial animations are jarring in motion, though they brag about them?

The guns sound like cap guns.

The combat controls are fairly weak, the difficulty in the game came from the random spawns and "waves" of generic pirate attackers. You'd finally win the battle with the controls to get the cover to work properly, but then you're randomly ambushed from behind.

Just a bland game overall, excellent only in that it's a playable original PS3 game which makes it very rare.

The game sold very poorly on its release.

must get, swinging looks awful fun, jumping seems a bit weird though

edit: too bad this isn't with the wii mote, I would rather have worse graphics and more interesting controls.

and ghostbusters, which also looks fun, though I can't seem to find a video for it now...

Year of the remake/sequel? Or is that every year...

I do have to say that though the CAD review was pretty nice, there was one line I can't find myself agreeing with...

Which goes to show that crypt-crawling and treasure hunting can be fun without big hooters.

I see the groundwork is being laid already to defend Spore's ultimate inadequacy.

Yeah, I can't say that I'm convinced by Spore yet. A big disappointment for me was when they (inevitably) revealed that the much-vaunted ability to shape your creatures has NO EFFECT on how they behave. Seems like a bunch of random games strung together, as far as I can see.
