Although the Activision Blizzard name is not interesting.
While there might be a physics engine that applies to the jugs, I doubt that an entire engine was written specifically for the funbags. - Cyclotron - debating the pressing issue of boobies in games.

Ah yes, I only ask because I remember the days of warcraft and C&C and the westwood/blizzard logos made me happy.

Not sure what i'm trying to say...but maybe you get it.

What I can't figure out is how Blizzard doesn't own the world. I haven't done the math, but 10 million subscribers has to be raking in an ungodly amount of cash.

Yeah, but I think this situation is different. Blizzard is a stronger company now than Westwood was back then (98? something like that). Also, Blizzard is a part of a big company already (Vivendi), whereas I think Westwood wasn't. So I really don't think much is going to change for Blizzard -- they just won't have to support Vivendi's other losses any more. Then again, maybe I am entirely misguided, but I would at least like to think this is what's going on.

                How about Blizzard.

Then, on page 134 of the small print it can say affiliated with Activision.

                It's win/win.

Its like when the Union Pacific merged with the Missouri Pacific. To get the name of the new railroad, they took the Union, from Union Pacific, and the Pacific, from Missouric Pacific

Missouri Pacific seems a bit of an oxymoron

Instead they will support Activisions losses.

No more so than the Chesapeake and Ohio, say.

I read "affiliated" as "afflicted". Strangely appropriate, now that I think about it.

How's that? It went from Missouri to the Pacific (I think)... a lot of train lines got their name from their destination(s).

Umm... Activision has consistently made money for the past three years (maybe more, but 3 years worth of data is what yahoo finance is showing).
