SMW is on VC - I'd probably get it for nostalgia if I had a Wii.

Yeah, I bought SMB, Legend of Zelda, and Sonic, but I haven't played them that much. Using the Wiimote is a pain, literally: it's too small to hold comfortably. I need to get a Classic Controller, but that's another 20 bucks on top of the outrageous VC prices.

Verto, I felt the same way about the classic controller, and then I actually gave in and got one. They are fantastic; really, really comfortable, and they can be used with Smash Bros Brawl, so I felt much better about that purchase
