That's what most people are talking about, which is why I didn't pay much attention to it until the demo was released. I thought this was just going to be some boring but pretty game, fortunately I was wrong... the game is fun too

While the game doesn't offer much we haven't seen before, but what it offers is done right

You do know that they had planned from the start that they wanted the game to only be playable on the highest setting on next gen cards? So that shouldn't come as a surprise
While the AI might not be the best AI available, it's still better than the AI in most games... but yeah, it does some stupid things now and then

But as long as the game is fun to play, I don't mind the AI not being the smartest there is

If you're going to judge the game's AI based on that AI video then you're a fool, it was clearly edited.

The performance vary's, just because you can't run it on Very High is just a testament to how detailed the graphics is; I don't think the developers gave a **** if you couldn't run it on Very High, they released the game with the best engine they could develop within their time constraint, and their engine really makes current hardware sweat - which is a good thing, because when the hardware does come, Crysis will be ready for you.

As far as the storyline goes, we don't really know how that will pan out yet, so a bit early to judge Crysis as a whole.

What is a "next-gen card"? Considering the HUGE graphical disparity between High and Medium, I think with a quad-core Core 2 @ 2.9GHz and a 8800 Ultra @ 675MHz, it'd keep above 30fps at all times. It does not.

That's just bad. I don't care if it was intentional or not, it's stupid. It simply doesn't look as good as the terrible framerate on high end hardware would indicate.
