I count Seven whove played both (though some for not very long)

Seven whove played Golden eye only.

and seven (not counting myself) who've never played either.

There are also some folks, I think, who never play FPS at all that havent yet posted to this thread, and probably never will.

"Most" is certainly qualified for playing one OR the other, then (14 to 7).

        QED.

          The original context:

LOTM "the distinction between Perfect Dark and Golden Eye (which was relevant to the critique of Tom Chick) , would require folks who are familiar with the features of those games, etc. "

Kuci "Oh please. This is a site for gamers. Most of the people who post in OG, I'd be willing to bet, have played those games."

In that context it clearly means BOTH games.

I've seen the film Golden Eye and presumbly there's some connection if that counts for a half point??

Otherwise never played them or even know much about them.

I do feel i'm missing a large part of the conversation though, as if i've come in half way, or is it a simple which is best?

You, sir, are squirming. Look at the title of your own thread. OR is not AND.

                Perhaps I misphrased it then.

This "Ive been told that most folks in OG have played these games, and can discuss the differences in features."

should have clarified what I meant.

In any case, you, sir, are still wrong.

Jesus christ, lotm. Give it up. I used to respect you for being clever and knowledgeable, but for a while now you just haven't been able to get your foot out of your mouth wrt technology or gaming, and you somehow can't resist trying to defend absurd positions just because Asher disagrees with them.

Running around spewing proximity mines all over the level and watching while people die is fun.

PD is a definite improvement over GE in terms of the game itself, numerous exploits were closed up that we exploited the hell out of in multiplayer GE, but GE was the first, and far more influential. But both games pushed the hardware a little too far, and it showed at times.

I played Golden Eye way way too much. Like a metric ****ton. I agree that it was the first good console shooter. I rented perfect dark and played it for 1-2 days. It was ok but didn't really capture my attention.
