  • World in Conflict!

Finally got the actual game today, I'm at mission 4ish(the mission in the demo). I must say, the TA in the campaign is much more badass than in the multi player, if only cause then you can bomb them again and again.
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

I was thinking of getting this game. From what I read, the artillery is blah and unrealistic. That is a bit disappointing.

Can you explain what you're looking for in terms of RTS artillery realism.

Also, the game's not as good as company of heroes but it looks above average.

Also, WTF is Other games not a subforum of OTF.

Like an HE shell being as good as a missile when HE is the weakest shell.

Because it's a Civ gaming site and games other than Civ are still close enough to on topic to not be off topic.

you mean when used on light-armored vehicles?

My main concern with this game is

                  1) If not played as part of a team (eg 1v1) it is kind of lame, since the support roles are not important

                  2) Few units

                    I mean used on anything.

They really should just give it DPICM at least. I know on light vehicles, HE is fine, but this includes tanks.

I played the demo of this and I really enjoyed it. I'm thinking of buying it this weekend. Does it have limited installs, online activation or any nonsense like that?

Only if you want to play it online....

Alright! I rarely play online anyway.

                          I'm getting this game tonight.

The idea of a Soviet land invasion in 1989 by means of unmarked cargo containers seems to be a stretch to me.
