Just tell us already you bastard!!!

Unless it was something like a prosthetic limb or a Vietnamese sex slave, it's not going to be that interesting, and you'll look like a schmuck for having built it up this much.

I gave the answer a while ago. I thought the repeated guessing was to josh me "But in keeping with the current trend, I will guess". But it could be some folks missed it.

I also offered to give hints if anyone asked. I really didnt think this would be that huge a deal, just a draw for Spikey to snark about the game, skanky to defend it, etc.

Are you still unclear on what it is?

I'm sorry. Despite our many disagreements, I have always respected you as fine, morally upstanding, intelligent and a person of some taste.

The cognitive dissonance of you buying the Sims was just too much.

PS. Have you locked people in a room until they wet themselves and die yet?

          Haven't installed it yet, actually.

The Sims (and its thousands of xp's) sucks. Complete waste of time. It is sad people play that instead of doing something useful.

The main audience of the game is housewives who sit around all day and would otherwise be watching soap operas or The View.

Obviously you've never seen The View or you would know that, no matter what you think of The Sims, playing it is vastly superior to watching The View.

That depends on what you mean. Whatever happens your gaming soul will never survive the dual blast of buying this game and cheating at Half Life.

LOL - I was too focused on Spikey's ironic comments about the Sims to take it for anything else than friendly banter - enough so that I totally missed the fact that that was indeed the game he had bought

You almost tempt me to play The Sims (2). Except I'm forced to admit that real life is mildly more interesting. And more chores get done. Maybe I'll craft a big green diamond stuck to my hat and then I can pretend I'm playing The Sims.

No. The game you are describing is World of Warcraft. If I played WoW during the day in one of my old guilds, all the housewives would brag about how they were playing WoW instead of doing housework, and complain about their problems.

I took a hit to MY gaming soul by installing Half Life
