      If those movies did not exist before on the service, how are they not new?

      If you're talking about release dates, WTC is fairly new.

                  They were supposed to come with the Elite's announcement, but they weren't. So, I don't know if they are coming soon.

                    They might be waiting to see how the Elite does? Or waiting for the fall to coincide it with Halo 3 in the hopes of moving even more systems?

                            I would expect when the Wii is no longer supply constrained. Or when the PS3 gets some decent releases. Or when 360 sales start to fall off.

                              Microsoft doesn't care about the Wii any more than it cares about what Tiger Electronics is doing. It's not in the kiddie novelty market.

                                Got news, for you Asher, to most normal non-geek folks the 360 IS a novelty, as is ANY gaming console - and the older teens and 20 somethings who play it are not considered significantly different from kiddies.

                                As for MS, they are concerned with anything that effect their sales. To the extent that there are any households that do not intend to be multiple console households, for whom purchase of a Wii is substituting for purchase of a 360, (and IIUC there are some, although those are not the hard core 360 early adopters) it could well impact the 360 pricing strategy.
