If it belongs anywhere on our fora - which I would strongly argue it does not - it belongs in other games (the forum for people discussing games not covered by the site). However, we don't typically like people recruiting for clans on this site...

Who doesn't like it? You? As long as it seems to be a genuine poster (not a spambot or such), we've usually allowed advertisment of other gaming sites, kept to one thread in this forum.

I don't mean we (staff) discourage it, I mean they usually get a negative response (ie, usually DL dances etc.) because this site isn't really populated by very many people who join clans for these things

I wish I was a spambot, I would have recruited a few dozen people by now. Anyways, I appreciate being allowed a single thread.

Don't get me wrong - I wish you luck in your endeavour. Its just C&C doesn't interest me in its multiplayer capacity, and I doubt it does for many people here too.

Unfortunately, DL dances are pretty much the normal welcome for any new user these days. But you're right in that our forum isn't the most likely to provide any clan recruits. Moreover, Wildbore is actually a long-time member, not just someone who signs up to promote a website and never comes back .
