    actually, it's not really certain how many chapters there are or have been. some foundings were never recorded on holy terra. not to mention that there are two primarchs out of the twenty that do not appear in any sort of record.

            True, some chapters are very large(Black Templars, Space Wolfs, and the Grey Knights) but some are very the hell beaten up (Crimson Fists)


            And Cain is way the Hell cooler than Yarrick.

              i am totally cool with no Marine PCs. in any sort of WH40k roleplaying game i've been in, Marines were always on the no-no list. only in one very short game where we played deathwatch marines, and despite our gm's best efforts to make this as difficult as possible, even my own appalling dice rolling was adequate for even the most theatric of actions.
