The demo is out(its 1.17GB to dl ~3GB to install), and it looks awesome. the infantry arrangement into squads also looks nice.

Downloaded it, played it for 30 minutes (had to stop, urgent work to do). And I just wanted to post this and say that Command and Conquer (1) is back. Well for me anyway.
The only C&C I ever liked was the first one. I loved having just the commando unit take out an entire army and base.
Playing C&C3, I am getting that same old feeling, loving it so far - and its only the tutorial!be freeComment

(Lets just say I was more than slightly obsessed with C&C1 and RA since they were my first exposure to MP RTS).

Though the options are greyed out you can play as nod, and against gdi. select the side in the pull down menu, and press n or g respectively. don't try this for scrin(instant loss since scrin stuff is not in there).
Infantry are unfortunately still countered by everything, and the brutal ai isn't even remotely fair, though it is possible to beat a brutal turtle.Comment

Well, at first playing C&C: Generals, the brutal AI's were toug, but they soon became pushovers, and when the expansion came out we had to go down to fighting mediums for a couple of games. So I don't think that will last much...Indifference is BlissComment
