I'm not a big RTS fan in the first place. If an RTS doesn't draw me in fairly quickly I'm going to dump it.

Yep, one important lesson in SC is that defenses never last forever, especially when X units show up. My favorite X unit is the Galactic Collossus. That beast will slice through anything without a sweat. I had one slice through two lines of heavy defenses, destroy a Fatboy at point blank range and clean up an entire base, with 20% health leftover. I was blown away!
