Sounds like WoW is better for you. GW was fun for a couple weeks but its depth is that of a shallow pond, and at that point it becomes all about PvP (one I didn't find very interesting).

Then you want an MMO, but don't have too high expectations of a great 'story'. However, as a world the warcraft universe is pretty well done.

Since the classes are so different and GW is a very tactical game there is also replayability in using other classes. MMOs have stronger progression, but the flip side of this is that you never get to enjoy all the classes.

Well, i've been enjoying every class in wow (except shaman, haven't tried that yet) since getting my paladin to 60, but they are all levelling real slow since I jump from character to character.

I find many of them equally fun to play, and hence it will be a long time 'til I get another 60 unless I can be disciplined and stick to one.
While there might be a physics engine that applies to the jugs, I doubt that an entire engine was written specifically for the funbags. - Cyclotron - debating the pressing issue of boobies in games.

Exactly. And finishing the raid content with multiple characters would take forever.

raid content? ha, i was kicked out of a guild because I dared to not play for 3 days over the Labor Day weekend....

Let alone running the same dungeon over and over and over again for the hopes of a set piece. Not fun to me. I just pvp at 60 and do odd quests for money.

my paladin is stagnating at sixty. but i digress.

Well that's a bad guild choice rather than anything else.

Funny thing is that I wasn't pissed. I don't like the same long instance runs over an over, so I guess end game wow isn't for me anyhow.

Call it a learning experience. I think they did me a favor.

Maybe i'll give it another go, who knows.

Personally I would say if you don't like raiding play GW.

I should try that game. I do like wow very much, but it is 2 different games. The levelling game and the 60 game.

I like the first half. And it's not that raiding sucks, it's the fact that you have to do the same raid so many times to get the reward that irks me.

                          ehh..

Hmm... seems like there are plenty here who have WoW (and like it), and I have been intrigued. The question is whether I can afford an extra $15/mo now.

That's like one meal out. Of course you can afford it, unless you always eat at home..
