    I have a knife... a cup ... a whip ... a toolbox that's empty ... a cork ... sleeping pills ... I haven't found anything else I could use

I find that small demos make the full game more anticipating.

See, that's the sort of silliness that makes me not enjoy games like this =/ There are any number of things i could have done (including WALKING AROUND THE OTHER WAY FFS) but it only lets you do one

          But thanks

It would probably be too easy if they allowed multiple solutions to every problem.

Also the amount of work required for the creators would be brain-killing.

Indeed, it's a game, and linearity ftw.

So they finally came up with a demo? It must be over five years now since I first heard of this game...

Anyways, time to check the AGS forums
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
                  Once again...

Well according to the site they only started actual coding somewhere in 2003. So they´ve only been on it for 3 years right now.

But i have to say i really enjoyed the demo, it has the feel of a regular indy adventure to it.
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

                        But, from their site:
The project first came about in 2001, when Jocke Andersson had the idea of making an un-official sequel for "Fate of Atlantis". He considered it to be a small project and retired as project leader in mid 2001.

At this stage, Mark Lovegrove took over the project and revamped it - and has led the project to the current day.

At the time I thought it was one of the many Indy rips that were announced at that time. I knew Mark Lovegrove from the AGS forums but he was (and still is) mostly a music man so I thought that this was one of the many still-born projects. Some time after that I saw some backgrounds and they really had the FoA feel.

Kudos to them that they got this far

I really should fire up AGS and start my own game. Been thinking about it for years now
