I was surprised by all the chatter in the bar room as people theorised this way and that as to who was the dastardly person.
Adagio was always mentioned first but the nslowly but surely one person gathered the votes of the others, by the time the police arrived to begin the investigation it was clear in nearly all minds that Nikolai was guilty and that was their story once the police questioned them.
Nikolai was about to leave with the police but requested a drink beofre he left, unfortuantley he too drank the Chemical concoction and almost immediatly choked to death.
It had grown into such a fact, that everyone who retold the story remembered seeing young Nik placing the Gel into Tubs drink.
But my story was different, but i was old and was enjoying the whole show.
To recover from the shock of the death all the Poly posters booked another night in the hotel.
The next morning i was first down for breakfast. The smell of bacon and eggs filled the Restaurant and soon a small crowd had gathered.
Rah and Chaunk sat down at my table and grabbed a bowl of cereal each whilst i chowed down on the old pig strips. The othe rpoly posters sat close by but at other tables. I could over hear wha tlittle conversations was occuring. Most were trying to avoid talking about yesterdays horrors.
I left my table and headed to the juivce bar and began pouring a Pinapple juice int omy glass when i heard an exclamation from behind me. It was SpacedCowboy. He had jumped up from his table wher ehe had been reading the daily comics in the newspaper. There was a look of horror on his face, Rah and a few others ran to his side. The wisened Rah spoke to try and clam Spaced down.
"What s it Spaced? Whats hpapened" asked Skanky who had helped Spaced to sit down again.
"A note .... A note ... " replyed Spaced as he pointed to the Newspaper. I walkeed over and there it was. Stapled to the inside of the back cover of the newspaper another note.
" ..You all are so clever, but none are as clever as meand now as surely as Y follows Z, You will be the next "
I read the note to the gathers Poly Posters and their was now horror on all their faces. Rah immediatly called for the concierge and again hte police were called. Spacedcowboy was very panicky and so we organsied for him to sit in the lobby and await the police.
The Poly Posters sat down again in the restaurant, when suddenly the lights went out! A loud clashing noise was heard as someone ran past my table. I heard a loud cry and then a thud. Again someone ran past my table. And just as suddenly the lights were back on .
I looked round the room and saw all of our crowd was here, al l except Spaced who hopefully had made it to the lobby.
Just then the Concierge ran in and brought us terrible news. spacedcowboy had apparently tripped during the blackout and had fallen into the reception area. As he fell his head caught the power cable to the Phone exhange on the desk. It had slipped onto his neck and he had hung himself. His body now lay limp in the lobby.
The police arrived and declared that it was an accident, however they never did question me about the runner from the restaurant. But we all knew that it was one of the Poly Posters.GM of MAFIA #40 ,#41, #43, #45,#47,#49-#51,#53-#58,#61,#68,#70, #71Comment

It's time for a ludicrous identification of The Killer. "zee" is a stereotypical French pronunciation of "the". Another stereotypical alternative pronunciation is "dee". We are told "As surely as Y follows Z." Y follows D in just one person's name.

Everything all clearly stated.
I have not always found the clues easy to find,
so this is easier for
my style of reading and then
after removing all the highlighted red herrings, I could
read you points about the
killer.
