Since I have all the orders in, I may as well update now.

Deconstruction starting in 5, 4, 3...

It had started at last! It had taken him years to get permission to create this expansion pack, and now it was being tested.

And according to his minions, tested to the full limits of the system.

Greg felt so happy he could cry.

The report had been on his desk for an hour, and he still hadn't stopped reading it, even though it was so short.

There have been a few interesting developments today. Jonny, who seemed determined to do nothing yesterday, today said he was throwing a curveball, and built a city, Muon. We suspect he was lying about the curveball.

The construction industry was again hard at work today all round. Six new cities were built:

joncha seems to have changed species, although we're not sure why.

We're reasonably confident he's in trouble though. Ljube decided he didn't like badgers. At all in fact. He unleashed his entire arsenal of four nukes on him. They were all guided straight and true, and suffice to say, Lutrinae, Melinae, Melivorinae and Taxidiinae are destroyed.

There was also a message from Ljube to joncha. It was encrypted, but we think it had the word "UDWOTerist" in. We suspect this may be a codeword, and are working on it.

The other two players were secretly being secret. We don't know what they were doing or why.

Ahhhh. Death and destruction. The entire reason for the sims project. Today was a good day.

A very good day.

Day 3 - it's a magic number

"And as you can see gentlemen, we've added a new aspiration for the Sims, World Domination. These sims will gain aspiration points for things such as using their influence to crush another sims spirit, or stealing their sisters toys, or perhaps burning down their school. Life time wants will be things like: "Become King, and have be the first with thier back against the wall" or "Nuke 6 cities" or "Cut down the rain forests to make a huge frickin lazer". Pretty common stuff."

Greg was in his element here. He'd been making presentations to board room idiots all his life, and this was his baby. He wasn't about to lose this time.

"What about skills?" Board room member #31 asked.

"The sims will need maxed out body, logic and creativity skills to progress well. They will also need lots of friends to increase their influence. Toys such as the "Soul orb", allowing them to change other sims into their minions will be useful, as they will need a small army to do well.

"We're currently testing the final stages of an attempt at world domination, and I'm told there are some interesting developments today.

"Standard strategy seems to be to build lots of cities, although that's slowing of late. Only four players constructed new cities today:

Skanky Burns: Mining Barge

Jonny: Tau
Hercules: Colony ship

"You can see them arrayed here." Greg pointed to the map on the wall.

"What's that blackness there?" Another spineless board room member.

"I'll get round to that shortly. As per usual, three of the players refused to say what they were doing, fishsticks, Spaced Cowboy and snoopy369.

"But somewhat unexpectedly, Jaguar did nothing this turn. He just stared into middle distance, rocking back and forth. We suspect that the psychological effects of Ljube unleashing his deadly arsenal unsettled him too much.

"With regard to those black spots, those are where joncha's former cities stood. Ljube nuked them last turn.

"And these are Ljube's nukes this turn. He sent two more to joncha, which destroys his final two settlements. joncha is eliminated from the game."

As he said this, in another part of the building, joncha's screen lit up. "GAME OVER!" it flashed over and over again.

Then it changed. "NOW YOU MUST DIE!" it flashed briefly, before the floor disappeared from joncha's feet, and he plummeted down into the blackness below, never to be seen again.
