  • That's certainly one word for them.

    • Here comes the "slow learner" thing again.

But how could anyone not like the new Pirates! game? I mean, it is thoroughly fun, at least for a while. Then it becomes repetitive. But before that happened to me, I certainly got the bang for my buck, so I don't regret buying it.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

Looks like you answered your own question.

            • Alien Nations - a diabolically tedious RTS, even by the dim standards of clickfests.

Empire Earth - OK for the first few levels, then worse than work.

Lords of Midnight PC version. Spectrum version rocked, but couldn't do a damn thing on the PC version - kept losing after 30 seconds then gave up.

Myst - the most over-rated adventure ever.

Mystery of the Druids - abysmal adventure where you have to kill the girl to win.

                • My only regret... one that left me in an alley, lying in a river of urine, with a lump on the head, and an empty wallet.

                  MOO3

I dunno, it was a different game, and I never got far enough to discover what was actually wrong with it as I couldn't get it to work at all - but there are PC versions of the original out there, including a windows-friendly rework.

                        • I bought Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure for the C64 when I was about 11 or 12. What a huge mistake. Oh, it was so awful.

And there were bugs out the wazoo.

I have never ever bought a computer game based on a movie again. Although I did enjoy playing the Terminator game that came out in the early 90s. A nice FPS.

                          • Call to Power... That's when I learnt that there will only be one civII ever; and the music was horrible

Grand Prix 3 because it was nearly an exact copy of Grand Prix 2 that I had played like crazy previously

I played both games for 15 minutes and never booted em again

                            • Lord of the Rings Tactics (PSP)- Where the hell is the tactics? Can't even set up where you place your units.

Conflict Zone (PS2)-Holy crap this game sucks.

American Conquest (PC)-No unit limit cap sounds nice, until there are over 500 units on your screen with no unit grouping.

There are more, but these stand out. That, and I traded most of my other games away for store credit.
