Two consuls met in Coruscant again to discuss their plans after their failed allied defence. It was evident that the intelligence service of the Triad of Evil was better organised and that attacking anyone would become a huge problem. This was particularly the case with Senator Danq, as he inherited former Imperial services and due to the breakdown of Empire it was not certain where the loyalties of the agents working for these services lay.

So he decided to reform the Imperial services, including the dreaded Imperial Secret Police before he would undertake any action against his foes. But these delicate reforms take time, precious time.


Having agreed the policy with Senator Danq, Captain Imperium departed. Shortly afterward Danq's reformed services captured a firebrand preacher sent by Ken Banobi to spread sedition and superstition. Banobi's agent was summarily executed.

Still, Danq knew that Reverend Banobi's agent had in fact been the harbinger of the Triad of Evil. He was right. The Triad of Evil was coming to get him.

Of course, this battle ended in a LAZZORGEDDON. Nobody doubted that. But at least Senator Danq dealt some damage thanks to his less than conventional OoB. All casualties are born by Reverend Ken Banobi and they are 42 laser frigates.

Later on Reverend Banobi and Kit Chuss coerced the Rump Senate to pass the Act on Removal of Senator Danq from History, or Damnatio Memoriae in Imperialish. A sad and undeserved end of the last champion of Empire.

Someone has been watching closely the activities, preparations and operations of the Tripartite Pact in their attack on Coruscant and destruction of the central government. That someone is an astute strategist and masterful tactician. He decided to take advantage of the most predictable pattern of operations of the Tripartite Pact. I only wish there were more overlords like him.

Designed to minimise casualties which could in extreme cases result in mutual annihilation in the event of doubly closed in fleets, Polly Siffan's OoB was not nearly as effective as it could have been, so it took him 9 rounds of combat to dispose of Captain Imperium.

Now for the final three rounds. Polly Siffan lost 2 laser titans, but captured 11 (eleven!!!!) bases. Great bargain!

Tripartite Pact is triumphant and the Imperial central government is completely destroyed. Will chaos engulf the universe, or will the few remaining overlords join forces against the evil? We'll see.

Undone by my failure to send in an OOB. What an ignomonious way to go. Had I sent the one I intended (for the record - MTT-FLF, Back Off, Standard), rather than leaving Ljube to use my default OOB, I'd have won, and pretty convincingly at that.

Oh well. Another time, perhaps. Congratulations to the Tripartite Pact - they outmaneuvred the forces of the Imperium at every turn. There's no way they can possibly lose now.
