FG: Mafia 42 sign-up

Just be happy I haven't axed "hangman", my only error in judgement was allowing that game to continue.
I have considered deleting all the old threads just to see if there were no post counts attached would people still be so enthusiastic. I still may.
You'd drop a few thousand on that.

Losing the old threads would be annoying, mostly just because of the lack of spreadsheetery. Postcount doesn't bother me in the least though ... you could always move hangman to the OT :P (Though it does probably bring some players to this forum ...)

Rah I do think that that's fair enough, having said this in no way will it be mafia 42. I started that series and its time it came home to the original gm, with the twisted slayings and the excrutiating pain that makes your cringe with fear by just reading it.

By the way if anyone is intrested I like the movie saw a little too much. Its become something like an unhealthy obsession for me.

There's been some talk in the Stories and Diplomacy forum that a "Message Board Games" forum might be a good way to arrange all these types of things. The Stories and Diplomacy people (and I am one, I must admit) mostly want that because very few people wander in by accident and they're recruiting. Still and all, it might be a good idea to consider.

I doubt a new forum would be considered for this sort of thing - they barely put up with this forum as it is

However, I suspect you could consider starting story-related games (such as mafia) *in* the story forum instead of here. The main purpose of FGs after all is to attract people to this forum so that discussions of 'other games' are participated in more often.

I think there might be a case for mafia, but not so much for the others.

However it isn't us you need to convince. You could PM your ideas to the owners though.
