Over on the eastern edge of Forum Games, Lord Ljube was comfortable in his position. All three of his immediate neighbours were fellow loyalists, and his border had been peaceful for years. He had taken the old king's words to heart, however, and knew it something had to be done to stop the conspiracy spreading across the land. As such, he decided to launch a pre-emptive strike on the leading voice of the conspiracy, Lord VJ, destroying the holy cities Ga and Ge.

For his part, Lord VJ wanted only to further the word of Tassadar the Great, prophet of the newcomers. To that end he ordered the construction of the city As on his northern borders. His hope was to teach his neighbours the glory of Tassadarian thought, but now he must hope his piety is enough to help him survive another day.

Meanwhile, Lord Chaunk carried out his orders from the loyalist cabal, and built the city of betamax on his eastern shore. The king's men hoped it could be used as a launching point for future actions against the island holdings Lord Tehben and Lord Jonny, both of whom sided are fervent supporters of the people of the event. While Lord Jonny build himself the new city of PIE, Lord Tehben did not involve himself in the day's activities.

Also keeping out of the actions of the day was Lord Jaguar, who was tricked into joining fellow bachelor Lord Lord Nuclear on a double date. When he arrived in Stephen Harper, however, the promised "young chicks" were nowhere to be found. Lord Lord Nuclear just wanted someone to with whom to hang out, and couldn't think of any other way to get his fellow lord to come over.

Further north, Lord Shogun Gunner, Lord Hercules, and Lord self biased also kept themselves out of the brewing war. There were no dates, fictitious or otherwise, involved.

More northerly still, in the shared islands of neutral lords Lord Skanky Burns and Lord snoopy369, mysterious secret things were afoot. Strange lights could be seen in the sky, and reports came in from the countryside of farm animals disappearing. Neither lord could be reached for comment.




summary: Ljube sent two nukes at VJ. VJ, Chaunk and Jonny built cities. Skanky Burns and snoopy369 worked on secret projects. All the others failed to send in orders, and will lose a city each if they do so next turn.

Day 3: Crusades

Not content with the crippling blow he had delivered to his rival, Lord Ljube declared a holy war, and put all supporters of the event on notice: after he was finished with Lord VJ he would take the rest of them out in turn. To show he was in earnest, he sent two more nukes at the Tassadarian, destroying the missionary city As along with the capital Zn.

Lord VJ was also on a crusade, however, and his pious efforts of the previous day saved him. He was up north proselytizing to the subjects of Lord Shogun Gunner when the attacks came, and had just won over the citizens of Taranto to the Tassadarian faith. The city was given the sacred name of Se and made his new capital. Meanwhile, followers of Tassadar the Great rose up in malkavian and Flafnir but were brutally suppressed by Lord self biased and Lord Tehben respectively. Both cities were destroyed in the process.

In the distant north, the secret plans of Lord Skanky Burns became clear, as he declared himself openly as a supporter of the loyalist cause and pledged undying loyalty to Lord Ljube. To prove his fealty, he unleashed the full extent of his arsenal on Lord snoopy369. His fellow neutral, it seems, was in fact secretly in cahoots with the Tassadarian conspiracy. Any territory Lord Skanky Burns gained in the process was entirely coincidental.

To the south, Lord Jaguar ensured that his trip to the mainland was not a complete waste by building the city Spanish before he left. Enraged, Lord Lord Nuclear started work on a secret project. Not wanting to be left out of the fun, Lord Chaunk and Lord Hercules started secret projects of their own. Lord Jonny got distracted by a hockey game, and did nothing.
