Day 5: Breathing Room

After the dreadful attrition of the previous day, most lords expected further carnage on day 5. They were mistaken. The only actions of the day were city construction and secret projects. Lord Skanky Burns build Fluffy as close as he could to the glowing rocks at the northern end of his main island, Lord Lord Nuclear build FLQ on land annexed from Lord self biased, and VJ build O on the ruins of Pearl Harbour. Everyone else worked on secret projects.

Why the pause? Well... rumour has it that a secret pact has been made between archrivals Lord Ljube and Lord VJ. Looking up from their vendettas against each other, they realised that they other lords had outbuilt them by a large margin. The alliance the two formed as a result may have been cynical, but it is certainly understandable. Rumour also has it that they also approached the two other minor lords, Lord Skanky Burns and Lord Lord Nuclear. No word on what the response was, however.

Day 6: So that's what all those secret projects were about...

Satisfied that his secret alliance would be enough, Lord VJ put his efforts into building the city of Te. Lord Hercules, who had also signed on to the deal, built Eggplant. Both were pleased with the results, and took the afternoon off. The rest of Forum Games was not nearly so peaceful, however.

Lord Skanky Burns wanted only to follow the same model, but Lord Jaguar had other ideas. The decision to build a new city, Kitty, would prove wise all the same. Lord Lord Nuclear had leaked word of the new alliance to Lord Chaunk and Lord Jaguar, and the three of them hatched a plot to take their competition out.

Lord Jaguar's job was to send four nukes to the northern isles, which he did. Fluffy, Nibbles, Tommy and Emmy were vapourised. Lord Chaunk's job was to send four nukes to Lord Ljube, which he also did. The crafty Lord Ljube had suspected such shenanigans, and ordered his Minister of Defence, Lady Jennifer, to deflect incoming missiles right back to Lord Chaunk. Sadly for him, Jennifer had been an agent of Lord Chaunk for years. If it's any consolation, she died along with the Lord Ljube and the rest of his subjects when New York, Chicago and Vancouver got vapourised. Lord Lord Nuclear's job was to send four nukes to Lord VJ. Lord Lord Nuclear, however, is an ass. He decided to launch his entire arsenal against his only friend in the whole world, Lord Jaguar. Inquisition, Spanish, City and Names were all vapourised.

Lord Jonny looked up from his secret projects just long enough to utter a Nelsonesque "HAHA!"



Summary: Skanky, VJ, and Hercules build cities. Jaguar nuked four of Skanky's cities, LN nuked four of Jaguar's cities, Chaunk (with the help of a spy) nuked all three of Ljube's cities (despite his attempt to deflect).

Ljube is eliminated.

Orders, as usual, are due in 24 hours.
