I will have the prerequisites for a light fighter in about 7 hours or so -- I need to save up just a little more Deuterium to research Combustion Engine 1, and I'll be back at a computer in 6.5 hours.

You won't need Light Fighters until you start attacking Defended planets. For now I would suggest you stick to Small Cargo and eventually Large Cargo.

IF you only need "a little more" Deut, let us know how much. Small shipments can be sent by Espionage Probes.

Can you fill us in on what you have been building? I thought with all the shipments announced here you would have had enough to get into the air.

i only sent him 2k duet,unlike 5k like i said,and some more of something else,that i forgot.he may not be able to instantly get airborne.

Well ask to be informed in case an attack is launched, and then empty the bugger, leaving all your mines on 0 for a couple of days, and transferring all your resources to a colony for the time being.
I'd prefer to know what size fleet he has before attacking, because it seems obvious to me that he has more than just one heavy fighter.

There's nothing a couple of IPM's can't handle. I discovered a newly inactive with a very strong defense so I launched my first IPM attack, followed by a two wave ship attack.

Nope, it was Kowriv again, I got a draw though. Good news is I have another new colony, and I can build crusiers. I'm going on a fleet-building spree soon so I can start hiting the juicy targets.
