  • And here is his home planet (REMEMBER THIS IS AN ACTIVE PLAYER):

    Further notes, he is unallied and ranked 1245 overall. With his tech number I assume he must have a large fleet but I can't seem to find it on the top 1500 on the fleet list.

      • I can probably smack him for you. Particularly the planet with solar sats.
        Did you want that?

        EDIT: In the future you can send them a PM before they attack saying your alliance will take action against them if they go through with the attack. Saves on defences.

        • I would be pleased if anyone attacked him

          Don't do it for my revenge however, I asked for this by scanning his first, I would be p**sed off too if it were me and he didn't hurt me too much.

          I plan on attacking him back eventually, gives me an excuse to build up an offensive fleet.

          But as I said, if anyone else wants to attack him, please do so He is ranked fairly high though so keep that in mind (lower then you though Skanky, with less research and with a smaller fleet, I believe most of his spending his been on defense and improvements).

          Edit: I did send him a message before his attack hit (and scanning all of his planets/colonies he knew I was active) but I didn't mention the alliance in the message, don't want him to get any ideas about joining an alliance himself

          My message was basically just telling him I was debating leaving my fleet on the planet to damage his defenses rather then removing and saving it. I think had I left it he would have lost a large cargo and a cruiser. I decided it wasn't worth it.

          • He doesn't have the tech for battleships, so that is a bonus for me.

            Well, I'm hitting his home planet. Even if he gets all 15 cruisers there to help defend I will kill him with no losses. w00t. 3 hours before I hit.

              • It was posted earlier in this thread DRoseDARs that colony ships don't land with their cargo intact, the new colony will have 500 Metal and 500 Crystal regardless.

                However given that you don't get the deuterium back if you recall the ship I am not sure it is worth recalling either (you lose the Deut).

                A costly error I am afraid

                  Well, I've recalled the colonizer to see if the cargo will be returned intact, just to confirm this. I don't mind the deuterium loss. Should return in 20 minutes...

                    • Okay, my brand-new slot-5 colony ended up with 46 fields.

                      • Same screen where you rename your colonies (overview screen) click on the name near the top of screen (colony if you haven't renamed it yet). There is an option to "surrender colony".

                        But I don't understand deleting a colony if you don't have the maximum number of colonies??? You don't get the colony ship back do you?

                        Why not let it grow by itself, increasing the metal, crystal and solar only. If it grows both mines to size 15 and the solar plant to size 15 it would be a great benefit to your empire. If by that time you want to delete it because you are running out of colonies, then delete it (I have one that is maxed out at 53 fields that I intend to delete eventually, right now it is a productive part of my empire).

                        Up to you of course, but right now I don't see how it hurts you.

                          • I read the forums for information and was lucky enough to stumble across this before making my first colony. The number of people who this has happened to though...

                            I've kept my current size 40 planet. I built a deut mine on it and thats pretty much it. My new colony ship is being deployed there and sent on its way to a new planet from there. Saves having my cargo ship fly back at colony ship speed. Stupid colony ships.

                            • I just confirmed that if you recall a colonyship loaded with resources BEFORE it arrives at a planet targeted for colonization by mistake you DO get your resources back intact.

                              Colonyship resent sans resources.
