Anyone remembers it? It was the space combat equivalent of Civilization, top of the bill graphics combined with a non-linear story line. Truly epic games.

Origin was acquired by Electronic Arts in 1992, and some point to this occurrence as the end of true greatness in the Wing Commander franchise.

- my first experience of it was on my mates 486, and i was blown away by how addictive it was. I got it shortly after for my Amiga(1200), sadly it was a game that really needed the Mhz which the amiga just didnt have. Still i perservered with it, and got lots of fun(and frustration!) out of it. A true Classic
