Interesting,

Don't bother building another research lab at your colony.

You can still only research only one thing at a time (in either place) and since the lab at the colony is so small, it be taking longer.

Just build a shipyard at the colony, and now I can build all that could (tech wise) unless it required a building (in this case a higher level shipyard).

I scan only whitey's . And only the lazy ones at that.

I'm planning to build a colony in the 3:300's. That will put me closer to Atragon. Maybe it will get me closer to galaxy 4 as well.

edit: I'm running to 148 now, which is practically next door. I didn't have the fuel to put it far
