Instead of running out of nearby planets to raid, I decided to have a go at my neighbour with the small laser. Hopefully germanos has left some resources for me, and my 3 () heavy fighters (overkill, anyone? ) will make short work of the laser. I sent too many cargoes the first time, and had to get the whole fleet back so I could raid another planet I discovered that looks very tasty.

Colonization failed, planet was given to a noob (I guess that means a new player.
The bad thing is that it now takes another 6 hours before it's back

Some inactives return! So keep probing previous targets!


I'm starting to attrack probes myself now as well. Anybody got any idea how to detroy them?


In Uni9 all goes still quite well, with an occasional skirmish when the actives (no inactives there that I know of) return and get the message thay are being attacked . So far, I only had draws resulting from those, meaning no loot .

Duke: I think there is still some left. If not, others have been there. Haven't raided the place in days.

He could have a fleet hiding, but otherwise he is completely defenseless and sitting on 7k Deut and little else.

You need high espionage levels yourself to have a chance to destroy theirs. If they don't know what you have, they are less likely to attack. With that frame of thought, I'm upgrading my own espionage level now.

Crap, one of my fleets disappeared. I sent out 3 probes and they apparently missed the planet as no report was given. They then apparently returned but didn't, so in the fleet menu I recalled them. They apparently returned again but are now sitting there wasting a slot and due to no crystals, I can't even probe someone. I'm now forced to attack blind.

Apparently a fleet sent to a deleted planet takes 24 hours to return. Maybe.

hah, that's what happened to my first colonizing attempt.

Those damn 4/5 slots are snapped up so quick that no doubt several colony ships are on the way to each one that opens... and maybe a chance of a new player too.

That's why I decided to start going for the slots that no-one else wants... and so I get yummy duet production.

In other news I'll be able to build cruisers by the end of the day (woke up to a 33K kris stockpile =)). Then I'll start smacking around the live newbies. There are some nearby in 1 or 2man alliances with some nice stockpiles and weak defenses.

I just experienced the same, but I could use the returned probes on another planet. Then I tried again the 'dud', and got a report on it
