Regional words are acceptable. If a word is set that is in violation of this rule, and is guessed, the guesser will not be credited with a point, but may set the next word. If the violating word is not guessed, any player excepting the setter may set the next word.
(*I mention "american heritage" because there are other definitions on the dictionary.com site that NEVER list 'slang' etc., from the Princeton Wordnet database, which does not differentiate.*)
Rule 11 (New Rule)
Word or letter guesses that are not possible correct answers, including guesses that would violate Rule 10, and guesses that include already-eliminated letters, shall not count against the wrong guesses for the players, but in the case of word guesses, shall eliminate the guesser from play for the remainder of that word.
Sound good?

It should just simply be:
Words must be standard english, and cannot be proper nouns. [b]They must be listed in Dictionary.com, and have at least one definition amongst those chosen from the American Heritage definitions that is not listed as "slang", "Abbreviation", "Informal", or equivalent terms. Regional words are acceptable. If a word is set that is in violation of this rule no point can be awarded and the floor is open for a new player to set a word.
