I went for espionage first so I can find targets that are defenceless. Next is laser for defence and then I'll gear up for war (or more likely scavenge for more resources). I'm getting my first probe now so I'll be trying it out soon (unless it needs a fleet slot, in which case I'll be trying it out later).

Well, planet blabla is completely useless. I only got 400 units total.

Either he is being plucked by many, or (more likely) it's a completly defunkt planet without any industry.

I won't be going back there, or at vey best if I have an extra fleet-slot open and a fighter hanging around aimlessly.

I'm about to upgrade to a level 12 plant for 6.5k M and 2.5 k C which will get me 125 E

Satelite will cost me 2k M and .5k D for 37 E

so the trade of is roughly 2.5k C for 1.5 D.
I think Solar plants are (at this level) still much cheaper then Sat's.


At this moment I rate M: C: D as 2: 3: 18 , which makes Solar Plants even far more cheaper, but I might be wrong about this ratio.

Math is not my strongpoint, but here it is.

Upgrading Solar Plant lvl13 > lvl14: M 14.596, C 5.838 for an increase of 166

I need 6 Solar Sats to equal that (my Sats only give me 29 a piece)

6 Solar Sats : C 12.000, D 3000

And since Sats will be destroyed in an attack they will cost even more Deut when you back them up with Fusion Plants (like I did).

So, without hurting my brain I would say a Solar Plant upgrade would be better.

Well, I upgraded my Espionage tech and now can see pig****er from 2:278:9 coming after me again with two ships. Not advanced enough to see what they are, but I hope they like 7 small lasers (would have been 8 had I three more minutes re:the timing of my metal production + shipyard construction) that his probe just showed him. Bring it, *****.

Edit: Out of spite, since I won't be able to build that 8th small laser in time, I've instead used my resources to go to level 3 Espionage and once he gets close enough I'll spend whatever else I can. If he manages to get through, he won't get the resources his probe just showed him...

Edit2: Just shut down all my industries to deny him any further resources if he does manage to get through.
