No, the light fighter has a small cargo capacity as well.
Basically every ship has a cargo storage, which in the case of the militairy ships is generally used for storing the fuel.

In a few hours I'll be able to send a cargo ship along with the fighter .
I'm still unsure if cargo ships can raid defenseless planets by themself, but I think they can.

From my (very limited) experience with space travel, it appears that for now we will only have very little range. I think it is therefore a good idea to split into four groups, each in their respective galaxies.

It's a funny universe

Galaxies are much closer then I thought. In fact it takes about 2 1/2 hours for me to fly to Spaced Cowboy, and only 1 hour more to Galaxy 4 and 2 (with a Fighter).

Galaxy 1 is 5 hours away, but my fighter can't get there because it lacks fuel.

I'll update as soon as I have my cargo ship. (in an hour or so)

I just sent my mighty fleet (an unescorted Small Cargo ) on its way. And it better returns because I don't want to loose the 4000 resources it cost me. I invested my last reserves in it

you can't attack a planet more then 3 times a day. If you do, you'll get banned

'Pushing' (=giving stuff to others for no apparent pay-back) is only allowed if the receiving end has a lower game-score.

So we can;t prop up one of us while the rest stay in noob (duh!) -protection...

I think I'm too weak to get attacked, but they might milk my cow

the returns on my current target are diminishing rapidly, althogh i've got about 4k metal and 2.5k crystal in 24 hours, so not too shabby. i need to start raiding other inactives, there are a few nearby, will be sending a fighter to check defences of a planet shortly.

i think inactive raiding will be a good supliment to my income, while i concetrate on getting some impulse tech and starting a colony or two.
